Disley Dam

This is Disley Dam, one of the club's oldest waters, and is available for fishing from the 16th June. Disley's a really fine water situated at the edge of the National Trust property in Lyme Park(Disley). Originally a boating lake with a boat house once situated there.

Directions:
Turn right off the A6 coming from Hazel Grove at the Ram's Head pub in Disley or left if coming from Buxon and then immediately across Buxton Old Road into Red Lane, between the pub and the church. Entrance to the site is at the bottom of Red Lane on the right.

Parking:
Car parking is available on the right hand side of the lane but not beyond the DNMAC sign. There is no parking in Lyme Park. Members are advised to obtain a parking ticket from the Committee, at no cost, in order to avoid any misunderstanding from the local residents which happens from time to time. There is no entrance through Lyme Park and no entrance through the Lyme Park railings. Please take care not to upset residents. Disley Image
