Now over 70 years old, Disley and New Mills Angling Club, is one of the largest operating in the North West. With a membership approaching 600 and over 10 fisheries and 2 rivers, we like to think our success is due to our progressive nature and due to providing a great range of fishing for anglers of all ages and abilities.

* All subscriptions must be paid before the end of January, if not paid before this time an entrance fee becomes payable as well. N.B. You will be treated as a new adult member and charged the full £42.00 if you do not apply for renewal before this deadline.

Remember the membership level is restricted and whether you are a current member or not you could miss out if you don't get your card early in the year.

Membership cards can be obtained at the monthly meeting of the club which is held in the Conservative Club, High Lane on the third Thursday of each month. If you can't attend the meetings, then cards are available at the tackle shops listed below.

Coarse Fishing Availability Dates

Coarse Fishing Waters Open All Year...

Birch Vale, Bowden Hall, Dovecotes, Moorwood Reservoir, Linnet Clough, Watford Lodge.

Closed Season: Coarse Fishing Waters Closed 15th March to 15th June, both dates inclusive

Disley Dam. For a trial period, this water is open all year to those have a stamp for attending a work party on the Dam.
Night fishing is only open to those who are subscribed to the Night Syndicate and have attended a work party on the Dam!

Closed Season: Trout, Non Migratory Trout is 1st October to 14th March, both dates inclusive

Closed Season: Sea Trout, Migratory Trout is 1st October to 31st March, both dates inclusive
